Elämänpuu means the tree of life in Finnish. I choose it for the name of my company, because it has a wonderful meaning.

The tree of life symbolizes eternal life. It is known around the world in the religions and traditions of different peoples. It is a mythical tree that binds heaven and earth together. For the Celts, it represents the balance and harmony of nature. It symbolizes wisdom, strength and longevity. They believed that the gods communicated with them through the tree of life. To them, trees were magical, living beings that protected the earth and were portals to the spiritual world. The tree of life is a popular and respected symbol, as it is said to convey positive energy. There is always a thought behind my jewelry . I draw my inspiration from old legends, fables and fairy tales. Nature and its diversity are reflected in the materials of my jewelry. In my jewelry, I use plants and herbs I have collected from Finnish nature, which are immortalized in bioresin or glass. My jewellry also includes semi-precious stones, pearls, ceramics and wood. I use recycled or vegan leather for my book ornaments. The metal parts are nickel-free jewellry metal, or steel and the earring hooks are silver or surgeon's steel.
